The Royal Highland Show

Brief: The Royal Highland Show is an annual event, showcasing the best of food, farming and rural life at Ingliston in Edinburgh. The event hosts over 1,000 exhibitors, 4,500 head of livestock, and up to 190,000 visitors. It is the premier fixture in Scotland’s farming calendar and generates over £200 million in business. They approached us to design the Members’ Area - an exclusive destination for RHASS Members to meet, eat & drink, do business and relax from.
Response: Design focussed on creating a space that reflected a contemporary Scotland. Our floral and botanical design drew inspiration from seasonal and agricultural materials with table flowers as well as installations in key parts of the site. Rustic furniture alongside natural linens added softness to the space. We designed menus and signage, working with an illustrator to celebrate the Show’s theme for the year.
