Brief: Bard is a shop & gallery for Scottish craft & design based in Edinburgh. Bard brings the work of the community together into a physical environment that celebrates the heritage & future of Scottish craft simultaneously.
Bard invited Rogue Village to produce & provide event management for their launch event. An event designed to showcase their vision, celebrate their new space & attended by key supporters, makers & clients.
Response: The venue in the heart of Leith was pared back with structural botanical design, fire bowls and ambient DJs. We partnered with Mortlach whisky to provide the perfect dram to toast the occasion, serving pies, Irn-Bru and Tunnocks Teacakes, giving a tip of the hat to Scotland whilst allowing the shop and gallery to be centre stage.
